I heard this quote the other day in one of my audio books by Carl Jung
“The world will ask you who you are, and if you do not know, the world will tell you.”
Read it one more time.
Did it hit? Because it sure hit me.
For a long time that was me. I was someone going through life thinking I should do this or that, study this, date him, dress like that, look like her…
And it was exhausting, it was depressing, it crushed my soul.
Yet most of us live entire lives like this, on auto-pilot, listening to other people, trying to fit in to trends, doing “what you're supposed to do” but never really being happy.
Never really feeling like you fit in.
I get it, and my dear one, life is more than that.
You have a Soul Purpose, a meaning, a reason for being. You are more than just your job, your labels ( mom, dad, wife, husband, sister, brother, etc)
You are a soul, and you have a purpose.
And your soul purpose is you, being who you are and living a life aligned to it.
So when the world asks you, Who you are?!
You let them know. You let them know exactly who you are.
